How it works

Three simple steps. No sales quotas, no cold-calling scripts, no lock-in.

1

Register your interest

Fill in a short form. We'll review your details and get you set up inside the reseller portal.

2

Pitch, quote, and close

You run the meeting, present MyHazMate, and win the deal. Your quote is generated inside the reseller portal so pricing stays consistent with what we bill.

3

Get paid every month

When they sign an Enterprise plan, you earn commission on every invoice they pay — for as long as they stay a customer. Rates are agreed with each reseller individually.*

Who this is for

Safety consultants, WHS advisors, industry associations, workplace compliance trainers — anyone who works day-to-day with businesses that store, handle, or transport hazardous materials. If you already know decision-makers at warehouses, workshops, mines, hotels, hospitals, or manufacturing sites, this is built for you.

How the commission works

The mechanics behind the "recurring" and "monthly" stats above. Numbers vary per reseller — set out in your reseller agreement at registration.

Enterprise plans only

Commission applies to Enterprise-tier subscriptions you introduce and manage. Starter / Pro / Growth / Scale sold direct through the app stores or the accounts portal aren't part of the reseller programme.

Recurring, not one-off

You earn a percentage of every paid invoice your customer settles — first invoice AND every renewal — for as long as they stay a customer. If they cancel, commission on future invoices stops; commission you've already earned is still paid.

GST + invoice mechanics

Rates are quoted ex-GST on the customer's ex-GST invoice total. If you're GST-registered, we pay your commission plus GST on your recipient-created tax invoice. Refunds we issue to the customer are netted off future commission runs.

Monthly payouts, end of month

Commission is calculated at month-end and paid to your nominated Australian bank account within the first week of the following month. Minimum payout threshold and eligibility rules (e.g. active-prospect requirement) are set out in the reseller agreement.

Duration = customer lifetime

There is no fixed commission window. As long as your customer remains a paying MyHazMate customer under your account and the reseller agreement stays in force, commission on their invoices keeps paying.

Extended-inactivity rule

If you don't introduce a new paying prospect for 12 consecutive months, renewal commission on your existing book pauses. It resumes automatically the month you close a new prospect. Full detail in the reseller agreement.

Your leads are protected

Two things stop your prospects being poached — the prospects list in your portal, and a per-customer claim code the customer types in when they sign up.

A

Register the prospect first

Add a prospect in your portal before the meeting. That reserves the business under your reseller ID for 60 days. If someone else tries to register the same business inside that window, the system flags it as a conflict and it lands with us to resolve — not automatically stolen.

B

Claim direct signups with the account code

Every MyHazMate customer has a unique 4-character account code visible in their Settings screen. If a customer signs up direct and later moves to you, they type that code into your portal and the account is linked back to your reseller ID from that point forward.

C

Tracked links + QR codes

Your portal generates a personal signup link and QR code that carries your reseller ID. Any customer who registers via that link or QR is automatically attributed to you — no manual claim step, no risk of the attribution being lost.

What you can — and can't — say about MyHazMate

MyHazMate is a workplace chemical register & SDS management tool, not a compliance guarantee. Resellers who overstate the product create risk for the customer and for you. These are the rules of the road — the reseller agreement carries the binding version.

✓ You can say

  • — MyHazMate helps you build and maintain your workplace chemical register
  • — MyHazMate searches for a matching SDS and presents it for the customer to review
  • — MyHazMate tracks SDS issue dates and flags expiring / expired sheets
  • — MyHazMate stores your register in the cloud so multiple users and sites stay in sync
  • — MyHazMate is designed for Australian workplaces and captures the information a hazardous chemical register typically needs

✗ You must not say

  • — "MyHazMate makes you WHS compliant" or "guarantees compliance"
  • — "MyHazMate finds the correct SDS automatically" (we suggest — the customer confirms)
  • — "You're never responsible for SDS" — the PCBU is always responsible
  • — "MyHazMate replaces a Schedule 12 manifest" — the site-access QR is not a substitute when Sch 12 thresholds apply
  • — Anything implying automatic legal compliance in any state — state-specific rules apply and the customer remains the PCBU

A reseller who misrepresents MyHazMate in a way that misleads a customer breaches the reseller agreement and may have their account suspended or terminated. If a customer relies on a false claim you made, that exposure sits with you, not with MyHazMate.
